A local legend, this place prepares fresh meat daily. When they sell out, they're done. Some very creative offerings. Lots of sauce choices. The black eyed peas and greens are particularly nice. Great sweet tea.

Food is wonderful! It's one of the best BBQ restaurants I've been to! I will say, the interior is a tad bit crowded but otherwise it is perfect. There are many choices of food and the staff is very friendly.

Had the pleasure of having dinner at The Dixie Pig in Rock Hill. The little place delivers huge in the flavor department. The crispy pig skins and the hash were shared with the table and everyone loved them. Mains consisted of ribs, pulled pork sandwich and bbq chicken. The chicken was some of the juiciest I have ever eaten. Our lovely waitress suggested the peach dumpling with vanilla ice cream for dessert and it was the perfect way to end a great meal.

Stopped here for dinner on our way home from vacation. Wow! What a great find! The restaurant is small and very casual but the food and service are terrific! We enjoyed “pig wings”, pulled pork and a half slab of ribs. There are 4 sauces offered. Since this was our first visit, our server brought out some of every sauce to try. The ribs were very tender. The hush puppies were light, faintly sweet and yummy. Sides of braised cabbage and black-eyed peas with collards were outstanding. The braised cabbage in particular tasted of the pork it had been braised with and was very tasty! If you like BBQ, stop here!

After seeing all the positive reviews, we were anxious to try out some good BBQ pulled pork. The restaurant is small with limited seating but has lots of charm. Service was excellent. We ordered the pulled pork. The pork was overly dry, it seemed like all we got was the outside bark. The sauce was good and helped wash down the pork. The french fries were dripping in salt and practically inedible. Would I eat here again, no.
